The National Cave and Karst Research Institute and Museum Headquarters is a multi-function, environmentally and people-friendly building on two levels. The first floor includes conference rooms/classrooms and the Museum. The second floor is mostly used by researchers and NCKRI staff.
NCKRI Headquarters is the first building of the Cascades at Carlsbad. This new cultural and community district is located next to the beautiful Pecos River and will soon include a variety of retail businesses, restaurants, offices and outdoor spaces for strolling and relaxation. This artistically designed development will serve as a focal point for local residents and visitors alike.
The National Cave and Karst Museum will be the premier feature of NCKRI Headquarters. A temporary exhibit schedule is under development and these exhibits will be displayed while the permanent exhibits are designed for the Museum.
NCKRI’s inventive and flexible space offers a wide spectrum of event options. The view of the Pecos River from our balcony is the perfect backdrop for a special evening event. Your occasion deserves a memorable location.
We’ve got space for an intimate dinner of fifty or a strolling reception on the patio for one thousand.
